Every young carer should know they are not alone

We give young carers a voice, advocating for them, and helping them achieve their  short and long term goals.

We provide one-to-one mentoring and support to young carers who help care for someone that has a disability, illness or addiction.

We work in schools to give young people the extra support they need, upskill teachers and deliver school assemblies to raise awareness of young carers. And we work with Action for Children to help young carers attend Bouncing Back workshops, to build resilience and develop coping strategies.

If you are a young carer aged under 18 years old living in Sutton Coldfield or Birmingham, or you work for an organisation that wants to refer a young person to us, please complete this form and we’ll be in touch.

At YMCA Sutton Coldfield we have a holistic approach; providing mentoring and support in safe, informal settings
