I absolutely love working at the YMCA Sutton Coldfield. My role is extremely varied and rewarding and there are always new and exciting projects to get involved in. The staff team are passionate and inclusive, and management are supportive and flexible. Above all, I feel that I’m contributing to a worthwhile cause, helping children and young people in need in our community.

What We Do

As a charity that helps young people, we focus on youth work with a range of roles across our different services and offices 

  • Housing – supported accommodation, repairs and maintenance, facilities management

  • Children and adults with disabilities – day care and clubs, community and social activities

  • Carers – mentoring, advice, physical and mental health, respite and wellbeing activities

  • Young people – youth clubs, mentoring, advice, sports, arts, podcasting and social activities

  • Administration – admin and business support, fundraising, marketing, finance and HR
