Local Solicitors firm Ansons are joining dozens of local Chamber businesses to sleep rough for the night in support of local children’s charity YMCA Sutton Coldfield.
A total of 21 staff members are joining Team Ansons for the challenge and swapping their beds for boxes on Friday 27th March to raise awareness and funds to prevent youth homelessness in Sutton Coldfield.
Ansons Solicitors who recently expanded into their Mere Green premises, jumped at the chance to support their local cause and get involved in this key community event. With over 100 business people signed up already, support from the firm is helping the charity to reach record numbers and fundraising for the event.
Jonathan Rowley from Ansons explains why they were keen to get involved:
Ansons are delighted to be involved with Sleep Easy, and to be raising funds to tackle homelessness amongst young people in the Sutton Coldfield community. Our thanks to the YMCA for raising awareness of such an important issue in our society, and best of luck to all of those participating.
Jonathan Rowley, Ansons
The Sleep Easy event, now in its 11th year, has seen strong support this year from the Chamber of Commerce and its members like Ansons who are raising money for YMCA Sutton Coldfield as their chosen charity:
We are really proud to get behind such a worthwhile cause and raise awareness for this fantastic charity who do so much for disadvantaged young people in our community. Supporting local organisations and bringing businesses together is what the Chamber is all about, so if your business is up for the challenge, please get on board and sign up today.
