Simpsons Gin Bar was transported back to the 20’s this weekend as dozens of locals donned glamourous Great Gatsby outfits at a charity event to raise money for local children’s charity YMCA Sutton Coldfield.
The sold-out event which took place on Friday night in the speakeasy style bar, was the first of several charity events taking place to support Simpsons’ chosen charity and to give something back to the community.
It was a brilliant night and a fantastic way to start the festive season. As a Sutton business, we’re delighted to be able to support a local charity and the work they do with young people is incredible.
Owner, Anne-Marie Simpson
With prohibition punch, 1920’s style music, flapper dresses and dapper gents, the evening was a roaring success with a total of £631 raised to support disadvantaged young people in Sutton.
We are so thrilled to have been chosen as Simpsons’ nominated charity. It’s wonderful to be working with a local Sutton Business and events like this really highlight the benefit of local organisations working together. It was great to see so many people getting into the spirit of the evening and we’d like to thank everyone who bought tickets and made the evening such a success.
