What is Sleep Easy?

Sleep Easy is a YMCA fundraising event, raising money to help change the lives of people at risk of homelessness or living in poverty locally. Many brave participants will swap their warm beds for sleeping bags, braving low temperatures and hunkering down to sleep rough for one night.

People take on this tough challenge to raise awareness of homelessness and vital funds so that YMCA Sutton Coldfield can continue to support those most in need.

How does Sleep Easy help?

Every night we provide housing for 39 young people who temporarily find themselves without a place to live. Alongside this, we provide a range of services, clubs and activities for young and disabled people in our community.

Funds raised from Sleep Easy enable our teams to continue providing vital support to people and communities most in need.

We offer support to live independently, mentoring, counselling and help with benefits, work and education. Our youth work, carers support and services for children and adults with disabilities include health and wellbeing, sports, arts and crafts, music and drama, and outings and residential trips.

Everything we do supports those we serve to move forward with their lives and to belong, contribute and thrive.
