George Williams House is in Watson Close, off St Bernard’s Road, Sutton Coldfield B72 1LE
It’s on the site of the former Watson House for Convalescent Children, which was a large Victorian mansion that was demolished in the 1970s and replaced with the buildings we now own
We have rooms for young people to stay for up to two years in a single-story bungalow and on the first floor of our main building
Our reception, offices and a large hall are on the ground floor, with gardens and hardstanding areas outside
For young and disabled people there’s a youth room, sensory room, gaming pod and an outdoor gym

Our youth room, refurbished in 2024, is a bright space with ramp access, ensuite toilet, table football and large TV screen
Our sensory room, refurbished in 2024, has soft surfaces, light, sound and aromas to stimulate the senses
The Pod is a cabin with audio-visual and recording equipment for gaming and the Why Teens podcast
Our main hall provides a large space for indoor activities or can be partitioned into two rooms, with level access to the sensory garden
Our outdoor gym has six pieces of fitness equipment for young people, residents, staff and the local community to use. A great way to keep fit and stay active. Funded by Beyond Birmingham, it has a colourful mural painted by local artist, Dave Brown, after children from three local primary schools submitted designs and a winner was chosen!
